NFL Picks Week 2

We are away. And week two roared to life with a surprisingly highlight-laden contest between Cleveland and Cincinnati – yes, the Browns and Bengals.

Anyhow, despite that weirdness, there are some super matches on the slate.

Last week we went 10-16… not baaaad.

Here’s how I see them panning out…

BEARS 24, GIANTS 17
Trubisky was a quarter away from being benched, suddenly he looks back on deck.

BUCCANEERS 27, PANTHERS 23
Brady and Bruce lay those ‘drama’ rumours to bed, but only just get past a gritty Carolina.

PACKERS 30, LIONS 20
Aaron rolls along and Cheeseheads handle Lions without too much fuss.

RAMS 26, EAGLES 20
The Eagles are a worry and this could be an early alarm bell. The Rams look back on deck, albeit not in their former high scoring mode.

RAVENS 33, TEXANS 28
Lamar and Deshaun with a Texas shootout but overall, the Ravens are a much better squad.

COWBOYS 28, FALCONS 24
Talented receivers, solid quarterback and some surprising defensive players… but feed Zeke and all will be okay.

TITANS 24, JAGUARS 13
Tennessee pounds the rock behind King Henry and Minshew Mania lasts all of one week.

VIKINGS 26, COLTS 24
Hard to understand how Minnesota are such outsiders. Yes, Green Bay handled them but they’re talented and Indy lack plenty.

BILLS 30, DOLPHINS 14
J Allen keeps improving and the AFC East is at the mercy of the… Bills. Who’d have thought !?!

NINERS 33, JETS 17
Injury worries galore but San Fran are talented and Gang Green are a mess.

STEELERS 22, BRONCOS 20
Big Ben was back and he looked excellent. Still yet to see what people like about Drew Lock.

CARDINALS 24, WASHINGTON 17
K Murray was sweet in week one, as was D Hop. From a Washington perspective, Chase Young is the most watchable defender not named Aaron Donald.

CHIEFS 33, CHARGERS 20
Another week, another offensive display from Kansas City.

SEAHAWKS 30, PATRIOTS 20
Here is where Cam Newton’s Patriots bubble bursts. Even without the 12th Man.

SAINTS 34, RAIDERS 28
Offensive scorcher opens the Vegas arena but the Saints are stacked and will get the dub, even without Mike Thomas.
