Week 4 NFL Picks

Coronavirus is crippling the NFL as we speak.

The Tennessee Titans are on the brink of needing to be shutdown for a period, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, New England and Kansas City have also been affected, either directly or indirectly.

The season is on a knife’s edge. But we push on.

Last week, a solid 8/15 (even though I forgot to pick a game). On the season, we’re a nifty 32/46.

Here are this week’s picks…

BENGALS 24, JAGUARS 20
Joe Burrow gets his maiden win, despite more poor offensive line play.

COWBOYS 30, BROWNS 21
Dallas gets to 2-2 and Browns lose no admirers.

SAINTS 33, LIONS 24
Lions like underdog tag but Brees and Kamara get to 2-2 on the season.

SEAHAWKS 27, DOLPHINS 17
Hawks remain perfect, handle FitzMagic comfortably enough.

BUCCANEERS 26, CHARGERS 20
Solid, if not sensational Buccaneers win. 3-1 looks good.

RAVENS 40, WASHINGTON 17
Jackson and the Ravens take out some anger on Washington without Chase Young.

CARDINALS 30, PANTHERS 14
After a bad loss at home to Lions last week, Cards bounce back hard in Charlotte.

TEXANS 28, VIKINGS 24
Two teams with everything on the line. Deshaun does enough. Vikings in a world of pain.

RAMS 33, GIANTS 20
Never feels close, Rams roll along.

BEARS 24, COLTS 20
Indy made me look silly once, but how they’re favourites against 3-0 Chicago has me stuffed.

BILLS 34, RAIDERS 33
The Bills will need points but they’re simply a better team than Gruden’s Vegas Raiders.

NINERS 30, EAGLES 18
Eagles in strife. Would love shares in Philadelphian talkback radio shows.

CHIEFS 34, PATRIOTS 18
Hopefully this one actually gets played. Without Cam, Pats have no shot.

PACKERS 30, FALCONS 27
Falcons score freely but they never win. Pack are humming.

Pittsburgh and Tennessee are on a COVID bye.
